About Shannon
Solid Business Expertise
Shannon has been a business leader in the real estate management arena for over 25 years. Her well-rounded experience in the office, retail and hotel sectors resulted in executive leadership positions for a global hotel chain, a regional developer, an anchor supermarket tenant and a national real estate syndicator, where she oversaw property management operations for a 30 million square foot portfolio. She has honed her expertise in management, operations and leasing and understands how to help management companies and owners succeed.Solid Foundation
After achieving the CPM® (Certified Property Manager) designation in 1990 through IREM® (Institute of Real Estate Management), Shannon went on to become a member of IREM’s National Faculty. Since that time, she has been fortunate to teach, speak and consult both in the United States and overseas, including Russia, Ukraine, China and South Korea.
Shannon served as IREM® Orange County’s 2004 Chapter President. She was a past extension instructor at California State University Fullerton (CSUF) and now is a member of the Advisory Board for the California State University, Fullerton Real Estate and Land Use institute (CSUF RELUI). She holds a BA from the University of Southern California.

Shannon is a professional member of the National Speakers Association has been a frequent speaker for numerous industry conferences, including IREM®, ICSC International Council of Shopping Centers), BOMA (Building Owners and Managers Association), IFMA (International Facility Managers Association) and NFM&T (National Facilities Management & Technology).
She contributes regularly to industry publications such as Buildings magazine, Shopping Centers Today, Shopping Center Management (ICSC), Shopping Center Leasing (ICSC) and has a quarterly column, marketfresh, in the Journal of Property Management (IREM). Her book, Strategies for Working with Small Tenants was published in spring, 2009.
